Getting people to engage with a campaign around a subject is ordinarily very difficult to do in a way which not only encourages mass take-up, but is successful.
This new campaign from the EFF to raise awareness of electronic spying by the US government on its’ citizens, used ultimately to petition congress uses the poster message method, in the grand tradition of:
